Dennis Ray Payne, 54, of Route 2 Clarksburg, passed away suddenly, Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born August 4, 1957 in Clarksburg the son of the late Jack Payne and Delores Starkey Payne. He is survived by his wife Monica Kyle Payne whom he married July 5, 1986. In addition to his wife he is survived by three children; Stacy Payne, Stephanie Payne and Jonathan Payne all at home; three nephews and one special niece; Gene Eubank III, Josh Eubank, Jacob Eubank and Casey Kyle; two sisters; Vera Eubank and Gene of Clarksburg and Jackie Payne of Parkersburg. He was preceded in death by one brother; James Payne and an infant sister. Dennis was a shipping clerk for Ruskin and was also an ordained minister. He taught the children’s ministry at Bible Methodist in Fairmont where he also preached on occasion. He loved his family and was a devoted husband and father.
