Dennis Murland Hayden of Willard, Utah, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the age of 86 of COVID related causes.
Dennis was born in Brigham City, Utah, on January 5th, 1935. He is survived by his sons, Brett Hayden of Layton, Utah, Jeff Hayden of American Fork, Utah, Kelly Hayden and his wife Ami of Fort Worth, Texas, his sister-in-law, Jeanne Hayner of Layton, Utah, five grandchildren, Cody, Rachelle, Sophia, Holly, and Austin as well as two great-grandchildren; his brother Wayne Hayden and his wife Lily of Huntington Beach, California, and a half-brother, Tom Hayden of Washington, and nephew Johnathan and niece Janet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Hayden and Carma Midaugh.
Dennis married Joan Reed in 1958 in Layton, Utah, and worked as an accountant for many years for Standard Oil of California and Hercules Aircraft in Utah. He enjoyed fishing, going golfing, and gardening. The family would like to thank the caregivers at his home, Barrington Place, in Clinton, Utah, for the kindness and compassionate care they provided.
