Dennis Michael Winger, 58, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021, at home.
Dennis was born March 12, 1963, in Storm Lake, IA, to Edward and Constance (Andrews) Winger and graduated from Urbandale High School in 1981. He married Lucinda Wilson in 1992.
Most of Dennis’ family & friends called him Denny, Wingnut or even just Nut.
Denny worked in many capacities from framing houses to tiling floors to lawn care & irrigation work among several other construction jobs.
Denny enjoyed hanging out at Suzi Q’s with his friends. He was an avid Washington Redskins Fan and huge Ted Nugent fan.
Denny is survived by his wife, Lucinda Winger, three children, Crystal Wilson, Maranda Plumb and Michael Winger; five grandchildren, Ashlyn Wilson, Alexis Reeves, Bradley Reeves and Christopher Plumb, and Emma Winger; his mother, Connie Winger, and his siblings, Pam (Craig) Carson and Doug (Kathy) Winger. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Gordon Winger, and brother, David Winger.
