Dennis (“Louie”) Layne Eberstein, age 62 of Schoolcraft, passed away July 30, 2019. He was born July 17, 1957 in Vicksburg to the late Robert and Barbara (Kline) Eberstein. Louie graduated from Schoolcraft High School, and after a year in California, returned home to Schoolcraft, Michigan.
Louie spent his time building a dedicated circle of friends and helping out those close to him. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle especially in the mountains of West Virginia. Marrying late in life, Louie adored and was dedicated and committed to his wife of 6 ½ years, Laura.
Louie is survived by his wife, Laura Eberstein; and, brother Mike (Jeanne) Eberstein. Following Louie’s wishes, he will be cremated and his celebration of life information is below.

These are just a few things that Louie enjoyed. In addition, each Fall Louie would organize a motorcycle ride and then return back to the house for a chili party.
