Dennis Lee Teate, 94, widower of Genevieve Himwich Teate, passed away, Saturday, August 20, 2022. Born in Red Level, AL, he was the son of the late Willie and Myrtle Wiggins Teate. A former diesel mechanic, he was a Navy veteran of WW II and was devoted to his family.
He is survived by his children, William (Lisa) Teate and Barbara Burdine; sisters, Evelyn Smith and Joyce Hagan; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
