A Time To Be Born: Dennis Lee Johnson, Sr. was born to the late Gloria Dean Turner and the late Latt Johnson. He was raised by his Grandfather and Grandmother: the late Monroe & the late Laura Johnson.
A Time To Live: At an early age he accepted Christ and joined The Church of Abbeville. He attended Bakerhill Elementary and went on to Clayton High School. He worked for Amco Transmission in Auburn, NY, Eco Lodging and Tyson/PSSI.
During his time, Dennis enjoyed life with his family. In his young adult age, he loved to drag-race, rebuild engines and fish with his wife. He loved his children all nine of them, his family and friends. Like his mother, he saw no wrong in people.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories; a loving and devoted wife: Serenda Johnson; one daughter: Sharon Johnson of Fort Lauderdale, FL; eight sons: Dennis L. Johnson, Jr. of North Lauderdale, FL, Demetric (Heather) Anderson of Auburn, NY, Edward Anderson of Columbus, GA, Dennis Johnson, II of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Devin Johnson of Eufaula, AL, Dwain L. Johnson of Hallandale, FL, Larry Hamilton of Eufaula, AL, and Dontae Johnson of Rome, NY; his grandmother : Edna Pearl, who through God’s grace, has reached the wonderful age of ninety-nine years old; sixteen grandchildren to carry on his name; uncles and aunts to cherish his memories; a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews that loved, appreciated, and valued him. Dennis had a big family that loved him.
The next time you hear a car jet down the road, think of Dennis.
