Dennis Lee Godfrey 68 of Weston, Wv. passed away on September 2, 2022 at Mon Hospital in Morganton, Wv., after a long illness. Dennis was born in Weston, Wv on September 19, 1953, the son of the late Lane and Mary Godfrey.
In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by a special nephew, Steven Lane Messenger. Dennis leaves behind one brother Kenneth Godfrey of Jane Lew, Wv., one sister Della Persinger of Buckhannon, Wv., one niece Christina Knight, husband Ronnie of Weston, Wv., one nephew Ricky Goldsmith. Fiancé Crystal Linger of Buckhannon, Wv.
Dennis worked in construction in Va., until he was hurt and became disabled, when he was able to go he loved to go fishing. He loved reading western books, he also enjoyed talking on the CB radios when they were popular and had many friends that he talked to every day. In his spare time, he loved to build model cars.
