Dennis Lamar Hambright, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born on May 14, 1933 in Dalton, to the late William Floyd Hambright and Oma Jean Grooms Hambright. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Faye Bailey Hambright; sons, Terry Michael Hambright and Billy Ray Hambright; brothers, Trammell Hambright and Gary “Curley” Hambright; and a sister, Sara Murray.
He is survived by his daughters and son in law, Sandra Pritchett and Hugh Young of Dalton, and Kimberly Rowe of Etowah, TN; brother and sister in law, Jeff and Willie Hambright of Tunnel Hill; sisters and brother in law, Pat Hambright of Lake Placed, FL, Nancey Drew of Rocky Face, Linda and David Hair of Dalton; grandchildren and their spouces, Clay and Jessica Bishop of Dalton, Tiffany and Micah Lilly of Ft Bragg, NC, Samantha and Michael Westfield of Cleveland, TN; great grandchildren, Brady Bates, Harper Bishop, Alex Lilly, Leason Westfield and Loman Craig.
