The son of Loyd and Irene (Boyle) Morgan, Dennis was born on January 15, 1941 in Muncie. He graduated from Eaton High School in 1959 and went on to serve his country in the US Navy from 1959 to 1963.
On August 7, 1960, he married Barbara King in Bluffton. Together they would have four children.
Dennis worked for Indiana Bridge as a welder and then a foreman, retiring after 40 years of employment.
