Winsted: Dennis L. Cappabianca, 66, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington following his courageous battle with leukemia. He was the husband of Patricia (Kelley) Cappabianca. Born in Winsted, June 16, 1944, a son of the late Albert J. and Marion (Conlon) Cappabianca he had lived most of his life in Winsted. He had owned and operated Cappy’s Cleaners for over 35 years, was a partner in the H&R Block tax office in Winsted, and had also owned O’Meara Real Estate for many years. In addition to his wife of 44 years, he is survived by three daughters, Christine Cappabianca-Carter and her husband Ryan, Susie Julian and her husband Barry all of Torrington and Sandra Sanden and her husband Jason of Riverton; two brothers, Albert Cappabianca and his wife Patricia and Andre’ Cappabianca and his wife Hill all of Winsted; five grandchildren, Nina and Garrett Julian and Chase, Hunter and Colby Sanden. He also leaves two furry granddogs, Bungee and Darby Carter.
