Obituary of Dennis Herbert Prevost
Dennis Herbert Prevost of Thomas Twp., MI., passed away with his loving family by his side on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at home. He was 76 years old. Dennis was born September 20, 1942 in Saginaw, MI to the late Edgar Dennis and Gladys Veronica (Vernon) Prevost. He married the love of his life, Marcia Gardyszewski on September 12, 1964 in Saginaw, MI at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church. Dennis attended Arthur Hill Tech, where he studied pattern making. He was self-employed and owned Tri-City Pattern, retiring in 2004. Dennis was a faithful and active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church for 54 years. He was also a member of the Frankenmuth Conservation Club, Brant Sportsman’s Club, Fast Buck Club, Whisky Creek Hunt Club, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #497.
He loved all forms of hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities. Dennis also enjoyed being in the woods. But, what he really loved most was spending time with family.
Surviving are his wife, Marcia; children, Michelle (Michael) Goad, Dennis J. Prevost, Kelly (Larry) Unrein, and Marc (Gen) Prevost; grandchildren, Amanda (John) Wade, Kayla Brock, Dakota Brock, Emilee Goad, Caroline Goad, Nicole Unrein, Krystle (Ryan) Rodriguez, and Danielle Unrein; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Emma, and Jessie Rodriguez; siblings, James (Marilyn) Prevost, Ronald (deceased) (Marjorie) Prevost, Janice (Jim) Vieau and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph (Lorraine) Gardyszewski; sister-in-law, Ginny (Gardyszewski) Taylor; niece, Paula Gorney and great nephew, Brenden Gorney.
