Dennis Guy Newville, died on January 31, 2024. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on August 28, 1947, to parents Milford Newville and Ethel Martin, Dennis was a beacon of light, laughter, and love to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His bright spirit and infectious humor will be deeply missed, but forever cherished in the hearts of those he touched.Dennis graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1966. After high school, hejoined the United States Air Force in 1966, and served his country in the VietnamWar. Once he was back, he worked for Saginaw Steering Gear, Plant 1 for manyyears. After retirement, he became a manager of Birchview Condominiums in Ft.Lauderdale, Florida, where he made many new lifelong friends. Dennis marriedMyra (Kryska), with whom he shared an enduring bond of love and companionship since their union of marriage on November 15, 2008. His passions for woodworking and fishing were not merely hobbies, they were extensions of his vibrant personality. Dennis’ remarkable fishing tales, including his legendary 14 ft. hammerhead shark, now proudly displayed at Bad River in St. Charles, will continue to inspire and entertain. He had a love for socializing with all of his special friends, and his unconditional love for his dogs, (Bella) and Krackers, who will miss him dearly.He is survived by his wife, Myra (Kryska) Newville of 16 years, his brother-in-law; Russell Shaw, sister-in-law; Pam Shaw of Bridgeport, two special nieces;Lisa Shaw (Fiance Tony Escobedo) and Michelle Voorhees of Charlotte, greatniece; Mallory (Stacey) Voorhees of Lansing, nephew; Brenden Scott of Bridgeport,and one great- great niece; Ellis Voorhees of Lansing.
