Dennis F.’Sid’ Barrett of Plymouth died on December 19th at B.I.D. Hospital Plymouth. Beloved husband of Ellen A. (Robery) Barrett. Loving father of Bryan D. Barrett of Weymouth, Kevin M. Barrett of Watertown, CT and Kelly A. Barrett of Portsmouth, R.I. Brother of Francis Barrett of Plymouth and the late Michael Barrett and Patricia Barrett. Also survived by several nieces and in Plymouth November 28, 1935 son of the late Frank and Irma (Alberghini) Barrett. He was educated in the Plymouth schools and went on the join the US Army serving from 1955 -1957. Dennis worked for L. Knife and Son as a Truck Driver for over 42 years. He was active with youth sports and coached with the Hilltop AA team, an avid sports fan he enjoyed golf ,tending to his garden and spending time with his family. He remained a life-long resident of Plymouth and maintained life-long relationships with his childhood friends.
