Those left to honor Dennis’s memory are his wife, Nancy of Newton; son, Alan Foster (and Carolyn Hack) of Perry, Iowa; his daughter, Deb (and Jeff) Wollam of Marshalltown, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, Aly Wollam, Ben Wollam, Mikayla Foster, Chantelle Foster, Michael Hack, and Kyle Hack; 2 brothers, Michael (and Diann) Foster of Earlham, Iowa and Stephen (and Kathy) Foster of Harvest, Alabama; his sister, Lynn (and Robert) Van Maaren of Monroe, Iowa; 4 step-brothers, 2 step-sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Thelma (Dewey) Foster; step-father, Dale Clubb; and his brother, Jim.
Dennis was a graduate of Newton High School in 1960 and worked as a fork lift operator at the Parsons Company and then later for 26 years at the Maytag Company, retiring in 2005.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Izaak Walton League, and Local UAW Retirees Union.
