Dennis D. Pliska, age 73, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Edenbrook of Wisconsin Rapids.
Dennis was born on August 18, 1949 in Stevens Point, WI to Edmond and Hattie (Williams) Pliska. He graduated from Pacelli High School in Stevens Point. He was employed by Copps Corporation as a meat and seafood department supervisor until his retirement.
Dennis was an avid hunter and enjoyed watching Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer games.
Dennis is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Monk; his son, Dennis Pliska (fiancé Tiffany); his grandchildren, Justin, John, Morgan, Macie, Zoeey and Jaxon; his granddog Jax; his sister, Sheila (Richard) Schultz; his step-mother, Patricia Pliska; special friend Gloria Eckhart; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family would like to express a heartfelt Thank You to the ambulance drivers with United Emergency Medical Response, the staff of Edenbrook of Wisconsin Rapids and Aspirus Riverview Hospital especially Jamie, JJ, Margo and Becky for all the care and support they gave Dennis and his family.
