Dennis C. O’Donnell, 75, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he lived in Pine Hill, NJ, before moving to Toms River in 1976. Dennis worked in Logistics at Lakehurst Naval Base for many years before retiring from the Federal Government. He was a US Army Vietnam War veteran.
Dennis was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the VFW, Bellmawr, NJ, and the American Legion Post 129, Toms River. He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Dorothy O’Donnell and his three brothers Martin, Terrence and Timothy O’Donnell. Dennis is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia (nee McHugh), his two daughters Chris Errion of Toms River and Tara DesJardien and her husband Peter of Hampstead, MD, his sister Kathleen Hunt of Cape May, NJ and five grandchildren; Hannah,Charles, and Abigail DesJardien,Samantha and Lauren Errion.
