Dennis A Glowacki, age 68, of Newnan, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at his home in Newnan with his wife by his side. Denny was born March 18, 1948 in Chicago, IL to the late Louis and Jeanette (D’Errico) Glowacki.
Denny was the husband of Mary (Wende) Glowacki for 26 years, enjoying tennis, metal detecting, politics, religion and being an avid reader. Denny was raised in Chicago, and in 1996 Denny and Mary moved to south Ga. They were married in Chicago in a civil ceremony in 1990, and in 2007 in Atlanta their marriage was con validated before God. Denny was a true conservative, actively campaigning for Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan and recently Ted Cruz.
He always did his best to teach patience, kindness, and for the family to understand and embrace our traditional Catholic faith by passing along books, through long talks, and many 3AM emails. Denny worked as sales manager for Arlington Fastener Co for over 40 yrs. He was a loving husband, father and good friend and will be greatly missed.
Denny is survived by his devoted wife Mary, his loving children Darlene (Michael) Hahnfeld, Mark (Debbie) Glowacki, Georgiann (Rick) Carlson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Deanna, Amber, Jacob, Samantha, Danielle, Logan, Tyler and Kylie. He was the cherished brother of Janice (Frank) Termini, loving uncle to all, a caring and fun son – in – law and brother in law. He was also a mentor and friend to many. In the last years of his life he fought the battle against cancer with grace, dignity and humor, doing his best to show all how to die a happy death.
