Denise Ann Fitzgerald Erickson passed into the Lord’s hands, suffering no more of life’s sorrows, on January 17, 2014, surrounded by her husband, Robert Jr. and three sons, Robert III, Andy and Burton.
Denise was born May 21, 1954 to Thelma Lou and Hugh “Denny” Fitzgerald in El Rio, CA where she lived her entire life.
Denise graduated from Rio Mesa High in 1972 and met her future husband, Robert, just before graduation. Robert and Denise were married in 1976 and their identical triplets were born in 1978.
Denise was a sensitive, kind, thoughtful and very generous person who shined a bright light in this world, which she made a better place.
After her boys started school, Denise went back to work for the next 25 years, all the while taking care of her family and house, at Becton Dickinson, Clarke American and Ventrex, Inc. until her health prevented her from working any longer.
Denise’s mother and father gave her a wonderful upbringing and she in turn raised her family with the same love. Denise was preceded by her mother and father, and is survived by her brother, Hugh Fitzgerald, loving husband, sons and step daughter, Erica.
