Newtown – Denise L. Douglas, age 63, of Newtown, died Monday, March 7, 2016 at Paradigm Health Care Center in Prospect after a brief illness.
Denise was born September 30, 1952 in Fairfield, Long Island, NY a daughter to the late Harry T. and Ella (Roberts) Douglas.
She attended Bryant College and prior to her illness Denise was an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager at New Milford Tractor in Brookfield. She also worked in similar capacities at Pakulis Equipment and W.I. Clark Co. and until December 2015 at C-Co Technology in Newtown.
She loved dogs, gardening, politics, reading and vegetarian cooking.
Denise is survived by a brother: Brian Douglas of Brookfield.
