Denise Lajoyce Middleton- Barton left her earthly home and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 24, 2014. Denise began her life’s journey on January 8, 1966, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, as the daughter of Londell and Annette Middleton.
She grew up in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 1984 where she was homecoming queen, a participant in the sunshine pageant and a member of girl scouts. After graduating Denise also completed two years of college at Henderson State University.
Denise was a loving mother and grandmother. She showed true kindness to every person she came into contact with by giving encouraging words of wisdom, laughter and sharing God’s love.
She was married to Kevin Barton for seventeen years. Into their union two children were born, Kevin Barton, Jr and Kendrick Barton. Together they also raised a loving daughter, Brittany Middleton.
