Denise Ann Balsamo of Hamden passed away March 30, 2016 at her home. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late James and Rosella Martone Balsamo. Denise is survived by two brothers, James “Jukie” Balsamo of Branford and Fred (Cindy) Balsamo of Wallingford; one sister, Linda (James) Chiaraluce of Bethany; a niece, Jessica Chiaraluce of Naugatuck; two nephews, Vincent (Christina) Balsamo of Prospect and Nicholas (Kristen) Balsamo of Wallingford; also survived by her beloved pet, LeiLei, whom she adored.
