Denis R. Jarry, of Woonsocket RI, has entered enteral rest at the young age of 67.

Born to the late Robert and Delma (Cesaroni) Jarry, Denis was the eldest of four siblings that grew up in Woonsocket.

Denis leaves behind his wife, Claudette (Gagne) with whom he shared 44 blissful years of marriage. Denis and Claudette are the proud parents of Karl and Kyle with whom they have shared countless memories at their Campground in Plymouth, MA, going to antique car shows, and enjoying family time.

Denis was a bartender at the Italian Workingmen’s Club for 30 years. He was a lifetime member of the IWC, Cercle Laurier and the Ocean State Hogs.

In his spare time, Denis and Claudette loved to ride their Harley Davidson and recently had upgraded to a Harley Davidson TriGlide for even more comfort for the best scenic drives. During the summer months they could be found at the campground, only a short drive from Woonsocket, but an escape from reality to enjoy summer evenings together and create lasting memories. Together they were fortunate to have traveled the world. Vacationing in Italy, Paris, Ireland, Alaska, besides the continental United States.

Besides his love of motorcycles, Denis was an avid car collector. Starting off with a Model A, fully restored, and moving on to many more projects over the years. He has owned Antique Fords, Corvettes, and Chevrolets. His last project, which he fully restored with his sons, was a 1939 Chevrolet Coupe. Of course, Denis painted the car his signature color: purple.

Claudette and Denis had a house full of love and eagle pictures where they raised their sons.  Besides his loving wife Claudette, he is survived by sons Karl Jarry and Kerryn Laverdiere of Woonsocket, and Kyle Jarry and his fiancée Jenna Bonollo of Woonsocket. Three brothers, Robert Jarry Jr. and his wife Barbara of Cranston, David Jarry and his wife Francine of New Jersey, and Dean Jarry and his wife Laura of Woonsocket. Four grandchildren, Karl Jr., Payton, Cadance and Mila who loved their Nonno tremendously. Besides many Brother and Sister In-laws, Nieces and Nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him.
