Demetrius DuSean “Meechie” Knight, 37, of Moberly, died Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the emergency room at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Demetrius was born July 7, 1980 in Detroit, MI.
Demetrius was a 1999 graduate of Moberly High School and was a member of the Eagles Lodge #2669 of Moberly. He worked as a salesman for Car Mart in Moberly. He had previously worked for North Village Park, Orscheln Farm and Home, Pepsico, and Golden Corral.
Survivors include his parents Terry Lee and Charlena Yancey of Moberly; a sister Rochara Knight and a niece Chantal Knight both of Columbia; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
Demetrius was baptized at Family Life Fellowship and was known as the “gentle giant”. He was loved by everyone and will be sorrowfully missed.
