Delton Hyde Briggs, 86, lifelong resident of Lebanon and beloved husband of Rose (Szczurek) Briggs, passed away Sunday (March 22, 2015) at home.
Born June 30, 1928 in Lebanon, he was a son of the late George and Isabelle (Hyde) Briggs.
He was a 1946 graduate of Lyman Memorial H.S. in Lebanon and went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Hartford.
Mr. Briggs worked for the CT Superior Court in Willimantic, retiring as District Supervisor of Juvenile Matters in 1989.
