Delphine E. Haezebrouck, age 90 of Big Rapids, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. She was born October 12, 1921 in Manchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of Henry and Maria (Lemieux) Landreville. Delphine graduated from South Eastern High School in Detroit. She married Arthur Paul Haezebrouck in 1941 in Ohio and together they raised their family in the Mt. Clemens area. Delphine was an active member of the St. Louis Parish until they moved to Big Rapids in 1994. She was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Big Rapids for many years and also was involved in the Friends of the Library. Delphine was an accomplished seamstress and had a thirst for knowledge enriched by being an avid reader. She was an independent lady who had plenty of spunk. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an inspiration to all. Delphine is survived by her children, Renee (Peter) Tomshack of Evart, Dawn (Grant) Felton of Sterling Heights, Michelle (Marc) Levise of New Baltimore, Dr. Joseph (Deborah) Haezebrouck of Holly Springs, GA and Denise Tinkham of Big Rapids; grandchildren, Nicole (Kurt) Boyd, Anne Tomshack, Megan Tomshack, Joseph (Carrie) Felton, Christopher (Heather) Felton, Marc Levise Jr., Donielle Young, Vanessa (Alan) Teague, Dr. Brennen (Jennifer) Haezebrouck, Katie Tomczyk, and Allyse Tinkham; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Jen) Haezebrouck of Shelby Township; step-brother, David (Maggie) Davies of North Carolina; many nieces and nephews. Delphine was preceded in death by the love of her life and spouse of 55 years, Arthur Paul Haezebrouck; grandsons, Grant E. Felton III and Brian Tomczyk; brother, Henry Landreville and her parents.
