Deloris Delite Wilkie Alderson, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 25, 2018, at MorningStar Senior Living Center.
Dee was born April 1, 1929, in Manly, Iowa, to David “Luck” Wilkie and Gladys Enabnet Wilkie. She grew up and attended schools in Kanawha, Iowa. She also attended University of Northern Iowa where she received a Bachelor’s Degree.
On June 24, 1951, she married Merlin “Salt” Alderson in Storm Lake, Iowa. To this union were born two daughters: Lynn and Diana. Dee was an English teacher for the U.S. Air Force in Lincoln, Nebraska as well as a teacher in both public and Catholic schools in Denver and Idaho Falls. She was also a member of the International Chapter PEO Sisterhood.
