Mrs. Carrera was born in Blackshear, GA on August 28, 1931 to the late Homer and Willie Mae Harrison. She has lived in Cleveland since 1979 after moving from Tampa, Fl. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Sonny Carrera as well as her daughter Karen Keller, brother Carl Harrison, and sister Elizabeth Power.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Manuel and Debra Carrera III, Brookesville, FL; daughters and son-in-laws Faith and Charles Thompson, Cohutta, GA; Sherri and Michael Dean, Cleveland and Hillary Carrera of Cleveland; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
