Delores Kay Plott 85
of Murfreesboro, TN formerly of Kenton
Delores Kay Plott, age 85 passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. While recently living in Murfreesboro, TN, she lived most of her life in Kenton.
She is survived by her son, Edward (wife Brenda); granddaughters, Lindsay Newman (husband Nathan) and Sara Blunt (husband Travis); four great grandsons; and six siblings. Preceding her in death was her husband, Edward Sr and son, Kevin.
Delores was such a loving person who always put her loved ones above herself. She was a master gardener and actively enjoyed that hobby throughout her life. She especially enjoyed engaging in all of the great grandsons’ activities and was affectionately known as “GG”. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church of Kenton, and later attended World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, TN.
