Delores Pietrandrea, 78, of 850 Mix Ave., Hamden died at her home on Sept. 22, 2011. Born in New Haven on Nov. 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Natalina Martini Petrandrea. She is survived by her brother, Peter Pietrandrea of Hamden; her niece, Joanne (Albert) Scafati; a nephew, Peter (Lisa) Pietrandrea; and great nephews, Michael and Matthew Pietrandrea. She leaves behind her caring family, the staff of Arden House 3AB, who cared for her amazingly for the past 40 years. Her family thanks them for all they have done for her. And a special thank you to the staff of Solamor Hospice.
