Mrs. Delores Mason Lipscomb Sieber, 62, of 2540-B Merritt Dr., formerly of Barbee Ave., High Point, died Sunday, June 3, 2007 at High Point Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Sieber was born Aug. 17, 1944 in High Point, a daughter of Frank Edward and Gladys Haith Mason, who both preceded her in death. A resident of High Point most of her life, she attended the city’s public schools, graduating from William Penn High School in 1963. She was chair-woman of The William Penn Foundation, and a former member of Temple Memorial Baptist Church. Moving to Greensboro 13 years, she maintained her close ties with High Point.
Survivors include her husband, Herman A. Sieber of the home; children, Keith A. (Sharon) Lipscomb and Sequita “Renee” (Brian Cobbs) Lipscomb, all of High Point; four grandchildren, Antionette, Francesca, Alex, and Carl; one brother, Frank Edward (Delores) Mason of Cincinnati, Ohio; two step-children; three step-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Arvid (Helen) Sieber of Ridgefield, Conn., and Peter (Shirley) Sieber of Pittsboro, N.C.; two cousins, Robert Davis and Faye Gill of New York; a devoted friend, LaVerne Robinson of New Jersey; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
