Delores Marie (Johnson) Angell, 97, of Ottawa, died February 27, 2016 at Rivershores Rehabilitation Center in Marseilles.
She married Edwin C. Angell on April 12, 1936, in Ottawa. Delores was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Lois Circle, Bowling Hall of Fame, AARP, and volunteered at Ryburn Hospital.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Shirley Vernoy and Bette (Stanley) Krafft, both of Ottawa, 10 grandchildren, Debbie (Mark) Wheeler, Jeffrey Angell, Peggy (James) Reynolds, Steven (Mary) Angell, all of Ottawa, Vincent (Vicki) Vernoy, of Ohio, Timothy (Kelly) Angell of Minn., Robin Vernoy, of Ottawa, Daniel (Alvina) Vernoy, of Missouri, Scott (Sadie) Krafft, of Sycamore, and Todd (Abbie) Krafft, of Ottawa, 23 great grandchildren, 22 great great grandchildren, a daughter in law, Theresa Angell, and 3 sisters in law, Flo Hertzner, Dolores Marshall and Marjorie AngellShe was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin on May 25, 1997, a son Gerald, 2 brothers Calvin and Harry Johnson, and 5 sisters, Alice Casey, Beverly Cunico, Beulah Eisert, Eleanor Bayuk, and Bernice Miner.Pallbearers will be Jeffrey and Steven Angell, Scott and Todd Krafft, Alex Hinrichs and Aaron Krafft.Memorials may be directed to Epworth United Methodist Church or Guiding Light Hospice.
