Delores M. Saxby, 78, loving mother and grandmother, of Freeport, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Monday, November 5, 2007, at her home in the caring arms of her daughters. Born February 9, 1929, in Freeport she was the daughter of Roland and Anna (Weegens) Graff.
She married David R. Saxby on August 11, 1950, and he died on August 8, 1988. She worked at W.T. Rawleigh, Burgess Battery, and then Micro Switch Company.
Surviving are her daughters, Debra (David) Beyer of Freeport, Donna (Richard) Bradt of, Wisconsin, Dawn Saxby (Mark Dailey) of Rockford, Deanna (Michael) Ebert of Ridott, Darla (Mark) Shelly of Lake Summerset, and Doreen (Michael) DeVries of Freeport; 20 special grandchildren; 33 precious great-grandchildren; her siblings, Diane Schlamp of Freeport Darlene Keith of Freeport, Dorothy (Delmer) Strohecker of Freeport, Sandy (Marvin) DeBoer of Apple River, Donald (Marie) Graff of Arkansas, Mary (Richard) Thompson of Freeport, and Cindy (Robert) Kostenbader of Freeport; in-laws, Shirley Graff and Larry Koch both of Freeport; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.
