Delores June Bell (Hendricks), age 91, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at Golden Living Center in Bloomington on January 19, 2022. She was born on November 24, 1930 in Bloomington, Indiana to Herman and Doris (McDonald) Hendricks. Delores retired from Westinghouse in Bloomington, and had worked for Farris Market and Stefano’s Café for several years. She was very outgoing and loved IU Basketball, and she especially loved Coach Bob Knight. She was always happiest when she was reading or gardening. Delores was a member of Mary’s Children, Mother of the Redeemer Retreat.
Delores is survived by her brother, Larry Hendricks (Rosa Mae), grandchildren, Bill Kerr (Kelly), Sue Love (Eric), and Mary Dee Hudson (Andy), great-grandchildren, Michael Kerr (Sarah), Brian Kerr, Cory Love (Morgan), Jacob Love (Brandi) Hannah Staggs (Rock), Emily Day (Dillon), 13 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Homer C. Bell, parents, Herman and Doris Hendricks, children, David Kerr, infant son and daughter, and two brothers, Herman “Tick” Hendricks Jr. and Richard Hendricks.
