Mrs. Zimmerman was born on January 28, 1927 in Spring Valley to Joseph and Lena (Heuser) Brabender. She married Edward Oscepinski in 1949 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Peru. After his passing, she later married Robert “Red” Zimmerman in 1963 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Peru. She attended St. Joseph’s Church and was active in the Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by her son, Joseph E. (Karen) Oscepinski of Peru; two grandchildren, Joseph Oscepinski, Jr. of Peru and Amy Oscepinski of Mendota and three great-granddaughters, Kamryn, Nora and Whitney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Edward on August 20, 1962; second husband, Robert “Red” on August 7, 1993 and her brother, Jack Dellinger.
