With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delores “Dodie” (McLin) Ballart, 89. She was born on April 2, 1930, in Freelandville, Indiana to John Dewey and Laura McLin.

Dodie was a graduate of Edwardsport High School. She was the first woman teller and officer at Pendleton Banking Company and retired from First Merhants Corporation as a Vice President. She started the Pendleton Bank Travel Department and also owned Fall Creek Tours where she escorted bus tours. She was a member of Pendleton First United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Dewey McLin and Laura (Beaman) McLin Marsh; step-father, John Marsh; husband, Marcel Ballart; sons, Michael, and Chris Ballart; sisters, Marjorie McLin, and Joan Cross and brother, Dewey McLin.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristi (Jeff) Humble; grandchildren, Alison McClure, Adam (Cristal) Ballart, Kasey (Kevin) Jones, Kari (Paul) Robinson, Carrie (Randal) Fox, Chad (April) Humble; great-grandchildren, Liam McClure, Aidan, and Isabella Ballart, Kooper and Kollins Jones, Marcel Robinson, Ashton (Matt) Cleveland, Kylee Fox, Alyssia, Gunner and Morgan Humble; sisters, Martha Lucille (Chet) McCord, Anna Stilwell, Barbara (Rex) Mercer, Shirley Schoettmer and several nieces and nephews.
