Delores Cecelia “CeCe” Krahling passed away peacefully at her home in Nanjemoy, MD on December 18, 2015. She was born in Washington, DC on December 18, 1949.
CeCe graduated from Surrattsville High School Class of 1968. She started her career at the FBI in Washington DC. She began working for the Naval Explosive Disposal School at Stump Neck in 1979 as a Secretary in the Building, Grounds and Motorpool Section. From there she came to work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, MD in 1986. She retired as an Administrative Officer in the Security Department in 2005.
CeCe enjoyed beekeeping, hiking, photography, cryptogram puzzles, hummingbirds and baking her famous cherry cheesecake. She was family oriented, selfless, and loved unconditionally.
CeCe is survived by her partner Thomas Deppe. They have been together for 17 wonderful years. She was a beloved sister, mother and grandmother. She is also survived by her four children, daughter Kellie Sexton and sons Jason Wareham, Craig Wareham and Joseph Wareham, and her siblings Frances, Elizabeth, Lynn, Thomas, Dale, Steven, James and Jeffery. She had 9 grandchildren; Nicholas, Shannon, Gabrielle, Tabatha, Kaitlyn, Kellie, Olive, Madelyn and Pearl. She had 17 nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Her parents Francis and Aline Krahling preceded her in death.
