Delores Ann Phillips

Delores Ann Phillips, 77, of Kingwood, died Monday, November 30, 2015 at Mon General Hospital.

She was born December 3, 1937, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Arless and Gertrude Knotts Bolyard.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Delores was a graduate of Tunnelton High School. She was a member of the Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary of Tunnelton and Kingwood. She worked at Sterling Faucet for many years, also at Foodland and later as a cook for Camp Dawson. She enjoyed quilting and going to the Senior Citizens groups in Tunnelton and Kingwood.

She is survived by her two sons, Roger Phillips and fiancAC., Ellen Sypolt of Kingwood and Rodney Phillips and wife, Marlena of Rivesville; a daughter, Bridgette Fleming of Tunnelton; seven grandchildren, Michael, Kelly, Janet, Bryan, Jessie, Shyanne and Zackary; a brother, Darrell “Jehu” Bolyard of Terra Alta and a sister, Nona Sheets of Tunnelton.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Hayward Phillips in 2009, also five brothers, Carold, Dewey, Donald, Harvey and Junior Bolyard and two sisters, Nellie Bolyard, and Connie Conn.
