Delora Vasti Phillips Yarbrough, 98, of Newnan passed away peacefully Monday, December 28, 2015 at Newnan Health & Rehab after a lengthy illness. She was born December 17, 1917 in Carroll County, GA to the late Charlie Phillips & Nora Dukes Phillips. She was the last surviving sibling of four, Katherine Dukes, Wyndel Phillips, and J.R. Phillips. She was also the proud mother of two sons, Jimmy Floyd Yarbrough and Charles Douglas Yarbrough, both deceased.
Mrs. Yarbrough is survived by daughter-in-law, Virginia Story Yarbrough; four grandchildren, Allison Yarbrough Cofield (Danny), Angela Yarbrough Reagar (Shawn), Jamie Yarbrough Tipton, Lauren Reagar Kee (E.J.); ten great-grandchildren, Sargent Chris Cofield (Jen), Sandy Cofield, Jessica Cofield Collins (Jason), Jimmy Shawn Reagar, Christon Reagar Swan (Matt), Lance Corporal Robert Tipton, Jr., Mary Tipton, Jake Tipton, Kaden Kee and Eli Kee; and thirteen great great-grandchildren.
