DeLone Lewis Laughter, passed away at 85 in her home with her loving family by her side on January 31, 2022. DeLone was born December 2, 1936 to Ralph Calvin Lewis and Virginia Margaret Whinham in Montpelier, Idaho. She later moved with her family to Ogden, Utah. DeLone graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1954 with the first graduating class. She was a member of the swimming clan and the Albonettes (the pep club).

In 1952 when she was 16 years old, she met the love of her life James George Laughter. They later married in the Salt Lake City Temple on August 26, 1955. James passed away January 30, 2019, they enjoyed 64 years together. 

In DeLone’s younger years she worked in West Yellowstone. After marrying, she worked at the Naval Supply Depot and the Defense Depot of Ogden. She was also employed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved serving in the temple and held many church positions. 

DeLone was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was classy, witty and the life of the party. Her laugh was very contagious and could always put a smile on your face. The memories made with her loved ones will forever be cherished.

DeLone is survived by her children: Denise (Brian) Monson, Jan (Trent) Horn, Stacy (Marvin) Farrell, Ralph Laughter and Jason Laughter, 20 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and her sister Linda. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Ralph, sister Dorothy, son Dennis and granddaughter Amber.
