Della M. Kauss, 92, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully in her home following a lengthy illness at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, July 6.
She was born in Fountain, Mich., on Feb. 7, 1922, to the late George and Della (Swelnis) Romanosky.
Surviving are her son, Dale (Eileen) Clingerman of LaPorte; her youngest daughter, Sandra Elsasser of Elkhart; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husbands, Stanley Eldridge, Vernal Clingerman and Harold “Rusty” Kauss; her daughter, Sharron Eldridge; three brothers; and two sisters.
Della worked for more than 25 years at CTS in Elkhart.
