Della M. Combs, 90, of Summerfield, IL, born June 15, 1923 in Crofton, KY, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Countryside Manor, Aviston, IL. Della had worked at the Donnelly Calendar Factory, the Trenton House, Service Cleaners at Scott AFB and retired from the Lanberg Hat Factory in Mascoutah. She was also a faithful member of the West Gate Baptist Church in Trenton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Combs, a son Glenn Combs, and parents, John R. & Lillian E., nee Chester, Lacy. Della is survived by 2 daughters, Mary L. (Everett) Manasco of Summerfield, IL, Carolyn S. (John) Steinkoenig of Lebanon, IL, daughter-in-law Ellen Combs of Oklahoma City, OK, grandchildren, John R. (Kelly) Manasco, James M. (Amy) Manasco, Jeffery L. (Melissa) Manasco, Teresa S.
