Centralia passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the Centralia Fireside Nursing Home. She was born August 7, 1922 in Centralia, daughter of Domonick Beneventi and Lidia (Dori) Beneventi. She married Merrill Davis on January 30, 1943 in Centralia and he preceded her in death on November 4, 1973.
She later married Lyle Sanders on January 28, 1995 and he preceded her in death in 2011. She is survived by a son: Tom Davis and wife Mariann of Spring, Texas; two granddaughters: Melanie Englert, husband Gregg and Teagan great granddaughter; of Valley, Nebraska; Melissa Nikolatsopoulos, husband Toney of Wichitia Falls Texas; step daughter: Susan Collum; step-granddaughter; Lily, husband Zack Hoyt all of Ava, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Geneva Beneventi, Helen Boillot, and half brother Gene Beneventi. Delia worked as a Technician at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for 14 years in the EKG- Cardio-Pulmonary Department. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Centralia where she taught Sunday School class for 10 years and also a member of the Ruth Circle Class. Delia’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends.
