Delia Higgins Franklin, 87, of Lexington, formerly of May’s Lick passed away Thursday, September 1 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Mrs. Franklin was born on May 28, 1924 to the late Lincoln and Emma Ray Higgins.
Affectionately known as “Aunt Dill” to many, Delia was a devoted provider for her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons; Paul Garnett & Michael Wayne Franklin, and four brothers; Sam, Wallace, Obie and David Higgins, and two sisters; Odessa Higgins & Alice Higgins Queen.
