Delia G. Milo, 64, of Deming died peacefully in her home on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
She was born December 8, 1957 to Charlie Gonzales and Bertha Sapien of Deming. Delia was full of life and enjoyed her family and friends here in Deming and her numerous cousins in Southern California. She had countless friends close to her heart that she loved dearly and loved spending time with, especially her biker family. She truly enjoyed her profession as a hairdresser of 30 years and loved the time she spent with her clients. Delia had a deep faith for God but always made room for a little fun at Halloween, her favorite holiday. Delia loved to cook for the holiday’s and share her creations with family and friends. She was best known for her pecan brittle and secret recipe Menudo, which she always said was someone else’s secret, she just stole it. Delia was always willing to help anyone in need and grew to be a master gardener in her later years.
Delia is survived by her husband, Frank Milo of the home, her 2 sons, David Sainz of Deming and Levi Valles of Longmont, CO; a stepson, Raymond Milo (Mona) Chesterfield, VA. Other survivors include her sisters, Elvira Gonzales of Gilbert, AZ, Rosie Bustamante (Raymond) of Las Cruces, Corina Flores (Joey) of Buckeye, AZ, Rowena Gonzalez of Deming; her grandchildren, Jazmine Teran (Santana) of Ft. Drum, NY, Brooklyn Sainz of Silver City, Lauren Milo of Chesterfield VA, Raymond Milo Jr. of Chesterfield VA, David Jr. and Sara Sainz of Deming, Azariah Sainz of Baytown, TX, Jaden and Josiah Sainz of Silver City, Xavier Valles of TX; great-grandchildren, Santana Teran Jr., Diego Teran and Amora Teran of NY and Leo Sainz of Deming; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents; both of her paternal and maternal grandparents; 2 sisters, Bertha Porras and Rachel Estrada and a nephew, Victor Porras.
