She was born on October 18, 1937 in Haggerman, NM to Susanna Ortega Najar and Estanislao Najar .
She married LeRoy Clifford Hinsz on Sept. 29, 1958 in Roswell, NM
Delfina is preceded in death by her father, Estanislao Najar; her mother, Susanna Ortega Najar; brothers, Tanis Jr, Eloy, David, Joe, Danny and Sammy; and sister Lila.
She is survived by her husband, LeRoy Clifford Hinsz; her sons Ricky Najar and Mitchell Hinsz and only grandchild, Eli Hinsz.
She is survived by her sisters, Bennie Beneivides and husband Andy; Francis Hines and husband Burl; Stella Ochoa; and her brother Pete Najar and wife Yolanda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by long time friends, Dolly, Kris, Sandy and Bonnie.
Delfina spent her life caring for her family and her home. She spent several years working at Holloman AFB Commissary where she made many friends. She was a kind and loving woman who dedicated her life to those she loved. Her favorite pasttime was doing crossword puzzles or reading in front of her picture window at home. She loved a good a joke and her smile would lite a room. She was loved deeply and will be missed.
