Delbert L. Kramer, 78 of Metamora, Illinois passed away at 5:12pm Saturday Nov. 9, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 26, 1935 in Jacksonville, Illinois to Edward and (Thelma Menke) Kramer. He married Murllene Moorhead on June 18, 1960 in Elk City, Oklahoma and she survives.
Surviving is one son Kurt (Kathryn Halleen) Kramer of Elk City, OK., one daughter Kayllene (Dennis) Clymer of Peoria; grandchildren Haley Kramer and Oliver and Keatyn Clymer; sister-in-law Charlotte Kramer, one nephew Bryan Kramer and one niece Christine Kramer all of Morton IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Douglas Kramer.
After graduating from High School Delbert enrolled at Bradley in R.O.T.C. and graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1956. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant and was stationed at Clinton Sherman Air Force Base in Oklahoma and Goose Bay Labrador, Canada.
