DeeAnn Marie Cruz was born May 17, 1966 in Pueblo, Colorado. She unexpectedly gained her Angel wings on December 6, 2022 at 56 years young. She is preceded in death by her father, Antonio M. Cruz, her grandparents, Matt and Grace Cruz, Pablo and Adeline Vasquez and Maxine Moroney. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Matthew Paul (Julie) Cruz, Shannon Garcia, MyaColby (CJ) Pineda and Anthony Gomez. Her grandchildren, Haylee, Donovan and Anthony “Beef”. Her mother and Stepdad, Drucilla “Dee” (Cruz) and Gary Moroney. Her sister, Melissa (Larry) Martino and her favorite nephew Cole Martino. Her second mom, Heidi Brooks and her soul sister Renee (Leon) Garcia. Her special cousins, Tammy, Carla, Michael and Melinda and many many more. Her very dear friend, Julie (Glach)Reyes. Numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. She had many special people in her life that adored her. She was affectionately known as Daughter, Mom, Sissy, Dita and Tia.
She was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado and graduated from Pueblo County High School in 1984. After graduation she started her career as a title clerk with Fortino and Jackson Chevrolet and she was currently employed by Milligan Motors at the time of her passing. Yancy, we can’t thank you enough for all that you did for her in the short time she was with you. DeeAnn cherished all of her friendships she made throughout her life. She found joy in her family. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She had a special bond with each one of them. She loved her mom, and some would say they were connected at the hip. She always said we were blessed to have our Papa (Gary)in our life and her love for her sister was like no other. She loved her pets, Harley, Rex and Chippy. She always found a rescue animal that she would love and give a beautiful life to. She had a smile that would light up a room. DeeAnn was kind, loving and beautiful. We will miss her dearly.
