Dee Johnson Morris, precious wife, sister, mother and friend, died from brain cancer on November 25, 2004. She was born in Sacramento, CA on February 11, 1940. Raised in Salina, Kansas, Dee graduated from Kansas University with a degree in occupational therapy. She married the love of her life, Dave Morris in 1963. They lived in Arlington, Texas and then moved to Boerne in 1982. They raised three children together and were married forty one years. Dee”s life was full of love and she showed it in her cheerful serving. She was a registered occupational therapist, enthusiastic volunteer and children”s supervisor in Bible Study Fellowship, mentor to many children, board member and volunteer at the Geneva School of Boerne, quilter, volunteer at Oak Hills Church, wise grandma and a woman of excellence. She will be missed by her husband, Dave Morris and her children, Dan and Alena Morris; Jeff and Heather Morris of Boerne, and Tami and Robert Smith of Spokane, Washington. Her six grandchildren, brother and sisters, family and friends mourn her death, but we celebrate the life that God blessed her with. She was buried with a service for family and close friends on Monday, November 29 at 2:00 P.M. at the Jones Cemetery.
