DeCarlos Tubbs was born February 12, 1976 to Mary Ann Tubbs.  He departed this earthly life for his heavenly home on March 29, 2022 at his home.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex Chaney and Bettie Jean Chaney.

Carlos, as he was affectionately called, was involved in many things during his lifetime.  He worked numerous jobs including Advanced Auto, Choctaw County Dept. of Roads & Bridges, and Georgia Pacific.  He also served on the North Choctaw Water & Sewer Authority Board and the Choctaw County Parks and Recreation Board.  He also served as a volunteer with the Lisman Volunteer Fire Department.  Carlos was always lending a helping hand to his fellow man.  The position that he loved most was that of Deacon at Trinity Tabernacle of Faith Church in Lisman, AL where he served faithfully until his health began to fail.  He was devoted to his church family and served diligently in the church, not only as Deacon but also as a member of the Board of Directors for Trinity. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kindra Tubbs; his children, Fredrick Tubbs, My ‘Eisha Tubbs, Braylen Washington and Riley Tubbs; his mother, Mary Ann Tubbs; his brother, Eddie (Angie) Tubbs; his sister, Angie Tubbs (Eldra); his father-in-law, Cleophaus Washington; his sister-in-law, Keisa Washington; his brother-in-law, Christopher Quinney; his Godmother, Shirley McDonald of Meridian, MS; nieces, Amiriyhana Tubbs, Samirahauna Tubbs, Emorihauna Cade, and Jakeira Washington; nephews, Dontavious Tubbs and Eldra Cade; devoted friends, Jackie and James Williams and Phyllis Hopkins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
