Debra Schubert Kacer passed away peacefully on February 22, 2021. Debbie was born on January 13, 1960 in Racine, WI, and moved with her family to Miami, FL as a young child. She graduated from Palmetto High School and subsequently from Florida State University, with honors.
Debbie was a retired CPA who left her career to raise her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother (lovingly referred to as “Grammi”). Debbie loved making home-cooked meals and creating memories with her family. During Kevin and Brandon’s baseball years, she could always be found in the bleachers with a scorebook in hand cheering on her team. She was the “ultimate baseball mom” and was loved by all of the players. She was also the “ultimate shopper”. No one could find a better sale, bargain or deal than Debbie, except maybe her daughter Amanda. Debbie took pride in giving the most unique and special gifts to those she loved. If you were lucky enough to call Debbie your friend, you had a truly devoted and loving person by your side that would do anything to support you and your family.
Debbie and Mark lived in Palmetto Bay in a “cul-de-sac” of close friends. Together they lived a life full of joy and memories with their children and friends that are like family. Her warm smile and generous nature will be forever missed by all that knew her. We love you Debbie, Mom and Grammi. You were taken from us all way too soon.
